What WindUp does for kitesurfing riders.
- Set your exact wind window — minimum, maximum, gust ceiling
- Direction filter — only alert when wind is on-shore or side-on
- Stop checking your phone every 15 minutes — get woken up only when it's on
Kitesurfing wind, answered.
What wind speed do I need for kitesurfing?
Most riders look for 15–25 kt of steady wind. WindUp lets you set your own minimum, maximum and gust ceiling so it only pings you for sessions you can actually ride.
Is the wind direction right for my spot?
WindUp filters alarms by direction. Set on-shore or side-on for your beach and skip the days when wind blows offshore.
What about gusts?
You can set a gust ceiling separately from the average — so a spiky day that breaches your safety limit doesn't trigger an alarm.
