Terms of Service

These terms ("Terms") govern your use of WindUp, an iOS app and website operated by Virtual Verse Studio. By using WindUp you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

WindUp provides live wind alerts based on data from third-party weather stations. We do not own the underlying data and we make no guarantee of accuracy, timeliness, or fitness for any particular use.

2. Safety disclaimer

WindUp is a convenience tool, not a safety system. Always cross-check live data with on-site observation, official forecasts and your own judgement before any wind-dependent activity. We accept no liability for decisions made based on WindUp data.

3. Account & conduct

You're responsible for keeping your account secure and using WindUp lawfully. Don't try to disrupt the service, reverse-engineer the app, or scrape the data feeds.

4. Free service

WindUp is currently free. We reserve the right to introduce optional paid features in the future. The core live alarm will stay free.

5. Intellectual property

WindUp, the WindUp logo, and the app code are owned by Virtual Verse Studio. The wind data is owned by the stations and providers we integrate with.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Virtual Verse Studio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from your use of WindUp.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Continued use after changes counts as acceptance.
